I was fortunate enough to take a short trip this July to the United States of America. I hadn't been since 2011, so it was good to compare how much the cities I had planned to visit on this trip had changed. The soul purpose of the trip was to visit my brother and sister-in-law who reside in Los Angeles, and also an opportunity for me to see how graphic design; or more importantly event stationery, is produced in another country. I purchased a brand new Nikon D7500 camera prior to departing Melbourne, as I wanted to capture images that would creatively inspire me. I was amazed at the amount of artist graffiti that filled the streets of Los Angeles, and how it can collectively be applied to print. I was so inspired by some of the artists work, that I have created a collection of invitations based from it.
